When I was in my 20s, I could wake up and dig into a plate of chocolate chip pancakes covered in syrup.
Then lace up my Reeboks for a step aerobics class or strap on my Sony Sports Walkman and Rollerblade around the park.
(How many '90s references can I pack into one sentence?)
These days, if I eat pancakes or waffles or breakfast, I will immediately fall into a headachey stupor and be useless until I nap for two hours.
But I still love pancakes and waffles.
So I figured out how to make them so they're a little easier on my system.
I was hooked on my Protein Pancakes for a long time.
Lately I've been making Pumpkin Protein Waffles!
They've got the festive flavor of pumpkin. And are just slightly sweet.
With 15 grams of protein per serving.
And there's NO protein powder involved.
